We are given a great tool when we are born, that is the ability to think. Yet so often we waste the power of our thought on things that are petty, unproductive, and selfish. The mind is capable of so much good when focused in the right direction. Nothing has ever been created in the world that did not exist in someone’s mind first. It is through the power of their thought that turned whatever it is into reality. Look around you and see furniture, lights, fire extinguishers, chairs, or whatever else you see. They were nothing until someone thought them into being. So today I challenge you to focus on how you think. A person becomes what they think about all day. What do you wish you spent more time doing Ten years ago?
Ten years bring many changes to life, I have changed jobs a few times, moved to new locations, and changed my entire outlook on life.
Looking back, it is kind of amazing that so many experiences came to me in the short period of a few years.
Now, like most people looking through the lens of experience, there are many things I wish that I had been doing earlier in my life. But all is a process and you have to follow them step by step. Once I looked at life and only wanted the good things in my experience. I think everyone would feel the same way, no sadness, no loss or grief, just happy things that are easy to deal with, yet we all know that life is not going to come as easily as that. We all must go through some difficult times and I think that is OK because you will never appreciate the good in life unless there is the opposite aspect to compare it to. Although I have trouble sometimes with certain concepts, one thing has become abundantly clear. Being Confident in life is a choice.
Confidence stems from the conscious decision to accept yourself for what you are and to not let your weaknesses rule over your strengths. Can it really be that simple? The answer is apparently a loud and emphatic YES!
