Each new experience with someone that we have changes us on a fundamental level. Sometimes I have difficulty being creative or thinking about what to write about. I remember fondly of the days when I could simply see a question, and quickly and easily organize my thoughts, and express my feelings about it. But sometimes I follow the same format and I struggle to form a sentence. Fortunately, there is no stagnant stage in the process of creativity. No matter who you are, where you live, how much money you have or what you do in your spare time, we each have an account that we are continually making withdrawals from and cannot make deposits.
Everyone in the world has a finite, fixed sum in this account, and still most waste a great portion of the capital available. Time is the currency in this account and you are spending it with every minute of your existence. Read more...(723 words, 4 images, estimated 2:54 mins reading time)
It is an inevitable part of being human that we all make mistakes in life. Nobody is perfect, no matter how hard we try to be.
That has always made we wonder: Why are we all so hard on ourselves when we do make a mistake? When you really analyze things you can see that failure can be a real bitch to deal with, nobody would choose a mistake and the trauma that comes along with it over the easy sailing of success, but that leads back to the point, no matter who you are, no matter how smart, funny, popular or talented, you are going to make mistakes and experience failure at some point in your life. I have often considered that truly practicing gratitude is an important step into bringing more of what you want in your life into your life. Each and every day I am more and more convinced this is true. I had often talked a good game about being grateful, really taking a moment and appreciating the things in my life, but my process was off. For much of our lives, we are continually hoping that our luck is good and it will bring us good fortune. Unfortunately, I have found over my life that there is no such thing as luck. Events occur and we assign the value to them. They are not going to be to your liking simply because you have a lucky rabbit’s foot or find a four-leaf clover. Luck simply doesn’t exist. Fire is an element that represents many things to many different people. To me, it has a symbol of purification. This is because when I looked into the fire, I saw the future ahead of me and the past was left behind.
The Significance of the Fire
There needs to be a bit more explanation than that I suppose. In life, there are people who come into your life and cause only a ripple in the large tangle of life’s experience. Then there are those that are destined to leave a deep emotional crater, that you are destined to carry in your life. How much and how long you carry it is up to you. A person may not be able to see it, but at this very moment, there are at least a thousand thoughts running around inside our heads. Some thoughts are great and some are just, well, thoughts. They are not all deep and meaningful but they are all ours, here in no particular order of importance are thoughts that you might have this day. I read a great article last week about finding out what is happening on the inside. To make this more clear to get in touch with your subconscious mind, through art. This blog is called the Creative Guru, and she really is creative and a guru. I saw the very beautiful and talented artwork the author created and loved it. She is an artist and rendered paintings, which are just wonderful. Read more...(712 words, 11 images, estimated 2:51 mins reading time)
Pouring over my daily dose of inspiration I was looking for a great idea to write about, and most great ideas come from other bloggers who know much more than me.

I am not sure what other people do with their thoughts. I mean the one’s that make you adjust in your seat and know that there is power boiling there.
The potential seed that could grow into some potentially awesome writing, or a gadget the world has never seen before and may never experience if I don’t record it quickly and accurately. I often get hit with ideas from sources I experience every day and spend my time trying to record them in my almost magical, brightly colored, deep thought notebook. I think that the Grinch might have had it right. If we took away the ribbons, tags, packages, boxes or bags, I don’t think that Christmas would actually come at all.
We would not find people singing in a circle being positive and loving. There would be chaos. People would be in fear for the economy, (by the way, holiday buying should not be an indicator of the health of the economy), angry about their loss of new gadgets, and I think it might lead to a national emergency. The media would have a field day, proclaiming the end of the world or blaming it all on a terrorist plot to end the United States as we know it. How is it possible that a phrase can get stuck in your head? Like a song that you wish you could stop singing in your head. The phrase is there banging to the beat of its own honesty. All you can do is think it over and over again until it inevitably expresses itself in words.
The phrase in my head I read in a glimpse, as I was watching a video on YouTube of all places. It was a fantastic video and the message was I Am, and who hasn’t contemplated what finite groups of messy things compile themselves to create their existence. I do it all the time. Why did this phrase jump out at me? Why won’t it leave my head? Read more...(779 words, 10 images, estimated 3:07 mins reading time)
I was scared to death! Petrified! White knuckle, grab a hold of something, close your eyes and scream scared of what other people would think of my writing. So much so, I really hesitated to ever show it to anyone. I had one friend who I would “let” read what I thought. They were very safe and supportive. All People live by a code of beliefs, that are accepted over the course of their lives, based on their accepted moral code. What has worked and what has not worked in my life has led to a list of core beliefs that generally guide my day to day actions. There are days I lose my focus but I have found that getting back to the core of beliefs is a step in the right direction.
These are ever evolving and I am editing completely but at that time this is what they were, in no particular order. Read more...(950 words, 11 images, estimated 3:48 mins reading time)
Life is such a crazy, wild, up and down ride that it can be difficult for anyone to deal with and stay completely balanced. Sometimes there seems to be no rhyme or reason why things happen and dealing with the sudden, quick changes that are thrown at us makes it hard to understand if there is something that we should or could be doing better. I mean, in the end, shouldn’t we be happy? Shouldn’t our daily routines and struggles bring us personal satisfaction and make us feel valuable as individuals? I think that it should, and one way to do this is to practice positive thinking. Read more...(1038 words, 4 images, estimated 4:09 mins reading time)

Many things have stopped people from taking action life. There are dreams that people have wanted to chase that they thought about but left untested because taking action appeared just a little bit too scary or difficult. The lesson learned was clearly that no matter what a person is dreaming of accomplishing or experiencing, it can only be realized through the implementation of action, to do the thing and see what happens.
