Tranquil Dreams Visits Life of Jonathan

A Great Visit

This world of blogging is a strange world indeed. You read blogs, leave comments and begin to feel like you actually know the people you are talking with.  Yesterday I had the great

fortune of actually meeting one of my blog friends in person and to make them an actual friend.

If you have never read Tranquil Dreams then you don’t know Kim.  She writes eloquently about food, books and especially movie reviews.  I enjoy reading her work and what I like best is that she always has a friendly and encouraging comment to share with you when you visit her blog.

Kim told me she was coming to Maine awhile ago, and I was hoping that we could meet in person when she was here.  We were able to work out the details and I was able to spend some time with Kim and her awesome boyfriend Eric.  They were kind enough to humor me and listen to my stories about camp and life.

For me it was a thrill, and if Montreal is full of people like Eric and Kim, I definitely have to visit there.

I hope anybody who is coming to the area, gets in touch with me to arrange a meeting, it was amazing to meet your blog friends in person.    Also in the picture, Kim makes me look really tall.

  1. I was going to say, DANG, JD, you’re super tall!! It must just be the angel the picture was taken from, right? ;-)
Hooray for meeting blog friends in person! Hopefully we can set something up for when I’m in Maine in August! That would be a lot of fun.

    1. It is an optical illusion, Kim is really short. I am only about 6 feet tall, she makes me look like Andre the Giant. :-) It would be great to see you when you travel to Maine. I am tentatively planning some travels myself at the end of the summer but I think I can swing it. Email me if you need any travel advice or thoughts on what to see. I would be more than happy to help.

  2. Glad to see you’re still posting! Somehow I stopped getting notifications from you and thought you were MIA. Guess I have some catching up to do. ;-) How nice that you got to meet a fellow blogger. I keep hearing these stories, but don’t think I’ll be running into anyone in Puerto Rico. ha ha

    1. No, not much chance in Puerto Rico, but you never know!! I took a little time off from writing due to the time my current job is taking but I am missing writing so much that I have to get back to it. I have had a hard time keeping up with my favorite blogs, and blog people, but I am always glad to hear from you and all about what is happening in your life. Thank you so much for commenting.

      1. I’ve had a hard time keeping up lately as well. This is my first summer blogging and if I thought it was hard to get to the gym, I had no idea how hard it would be to find time to write too!

      1. Really? I would love to hear about it. I am glad you are still pumping out the sassy content with all of the great Katie Style. I still read a bit when I have a moment but have been too busy to write comments with a great deal of thought. I will try to do better because your writing is worth it.

    1. It sure was awesome! I will come to Montreal sometime. As I said the other day if all of the people are as nice as you guys than it must be a wonderful place. I hope you make it home safely!! :-)

Let me know your thoughts.
