In our development, as humans, we are a result of our experience. This is particularly true when it comes to a person’s character. This is a quality that is displayed clearly through the thoughts, words, and actions of a person. If you have traits you wish to improve yourself then we all have the free will to do this. Moving through your life, from task to task, work time to free time, one of the most important thoughts to keep in your consciousness is to be grateful for all of the things in life that you experience every day. Being grateful is an attitude that increases your positive energy, makes you more efficient and is the doorway of abundance. In every situation, there is a choice of attitude. Each person that I have ever met has in one way or another basked in the glow of their individuality. The certain perks and character traits that made them uniquely them. I have as well clung to these traits to separate myself from the crowd, to show my unique value. Yet I look at society today and see that I am participating in a world that is manipulating all of us into a prison of individuality. Today I fought my greatest enemy. They seemed to be following me throughout my day and gleefully took each opportunity to point out my apparent shortcomings. They railed against me for the decisions made in the past and created an almost maniacal worry about the future. It was a non-stop assault that had its desired effect on me, I felt let down, angry, upset and I wanted to fight back. The conversation occurs subtly behind the actions of
the day. It is one that we are a huge part of but we rarely take the time to analyze the tone or tenor of which we are speaking. This is self-talk, an ongoing dialogue inside your head that will contribute commentary on the happenings you experience. Too often people just accept the conversation and it is most decidedly dripping with negativity. We tend to be extremely hard on ourselves and give extremely harsh criticism, often crushing our own confidence and self-esteem.
