My NFL Power Rankings2011 NFL Heal Point Power Rankings:

I have applied the formula that the Maine Principals Association uses to determine play off seedings to determine the true strength of a teams performance so far this year, these are one of a kind NFL Rankings based entirely on mathematical formula, there is absolutely no emotion involved at all.  Going into Week 12 in the NFL,  here are the Results for the AFC and the NFC, and the Predictions for this weeks games.

AFC Power Rankings Week 12 2011

1.Baltimore Ravens  - 36.133-Win over 49ers will cement top seed.

2. New England Patriots  -32.227-Eagles may be toughest match up left on the schedule.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers  -27.948-Beat the Pats, but nobody else whose good.

4.  Houston Texans  -26.016-Great running game, good defense, questionable quarterback.

5. Oakland Raiders    - 24.414-Seem to be cream of weak division.

6. Buffalo Bills   - 23.438 – Free falling have to win this week to have any chance.      

7. Cincinnati Bengals - 21.127   – Bounce back week for Bengals.

8.  New York Jets-20.502-Rex Ryan is swearing at fans, Jets are not good. 

9. Denver Broncos  -23.438-Tebow tries to keep the ride going.

10. Tennessee Titans  -18.203- Seem like a vanilla bunch, what is their identity?

11. San Diego Chargers    -13.672- Norv Turner may be done, but don’t be surprised if they make play offs.

12.   Kansas City Chiefs  -12.343-Played well for a half until true colors showed in New England.

12.Jacksonville Jaguars-12.343- Not very good at all.

14.  Miami Dolphins  -11.719- Won three in a row, improving every week.

15. Cleveland Browns-10.391- Win for the hardest working team in football

16. Indianapolis Colts  -0.00- Week off can only help their confidence. I mean, they didn’t lose.

NFC Power Rankings Week 12 2011

1. Green Bay Packers      41.016-Best team in football, long way from undefeated.

2. San Francisco 49ers  -40.039- Great defense, under rated offense.  Battle of brothers coming up.

3. Detroit Lions  - 29.297- chance to beat Packers on Thanksgiving. Of course they will.

4. New Orleans Saints    -28.945-The Patriots of the NFC, Great offense, need a defense.

5. Chicago Bears   -28.320- Lost quarterback, will cost them.

6. Dallas Cowboys  - 25.391- Winning, that’s all that matters.

7.  New York Giants  - 23.438- Have traditionally been bad at the end of seasons, seems like old habits.

8.  Atlanta Falcons    -22.109-Could be good if they get their act together.

9.  Philadelphia Eagles  - 16.602- Big win over Giants keeps them going, Patriots are next.

10.  Seattle Seahawks  -15.625- Pete Carroll has these guys playing very average.

11.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers- 15.273-falling down every week.

12. Washington Redskins- 10.742-They were 3-1 at one point, last positive thing that happened.

13.  St. Louis Rams  - 9.766- Another lost season in St. Louis.

14. Arizona Cardinals   -7.813- Nothing to cheer about but Larry Fitzgerald.

15. Carolina Panthers -5.859- Young quarterback can’t do it all by himself.  Draft some defense.

16.  Minnesota Vikings-4.880-Worst team in the NFC.  

 


 

NFL Week 12 Schedule and expected results:

1-0- Green Bay over Detroit- Packers Roll, Suh gets ejected. Lions on road to .500

2-0 -Dallas over Miami- Dallas wins close game. Miami is improving but need new coach.

2-1 -San Francisco over Baltimore- Battle of brothers goes to Baltimore, travel too much?

3-1  Atlanta over Minnesota- No brainer, Vikings are not good. No Peterson, no chance.

4-1 Tennessee over Tampa Bay- Tampa has to win to save any chance of good season. Tennessee fighting for playoffs.

4-2 St. Louis over Arizona- This weeks toilet bowl, Rams in overtime?

5-2 Carolina over Indianapolis- Colts have a chance this week, but seemed resigned to go winless.

6-2 Cincinnati over Cleveland – Bengals rebound with win over Browns

7-2 Houston over Jacksonville-Let the Leinart era begin.  Jacksonville will make him look good.

7-3 Buffalo over New York Jets-One teams season will most likely end on this day.

7-4 Seattle over Washington- Redskins have hit a rough patch to say the least.

7-5 Chicago over Raiders-The Bears lost their qb and will be in trouble

8-5 New England over Philadelphia- Patriots look to keep train rolling.

9-5 Denver over San Diego- San Diego may start their comback this week, Tebow time continues.

10-5 Pittsburgh over Kansas City- Steelers off the buy, whack Tyler Palco and Chiefs.

New Orleans over New York Giants- Giants reeling, lose three in a row.
